Looking for a name of an old game...

I had a Fantasy game when I was younger and I cannot remember the name. It had oversized cards with it they depicted 4 different groups the artwork on the cards was very well done. Each card represented one member of each group. It also had plastic "gems" I believe. But I can remember no more than that.
